Motherhood is such an all encompassing aspect of who we are as women. I find myself using the traits of motherhood in all the relationships I encounter, whether it is with my children, my nephews, my neighbors, or my friends. The idea that one must have a child to feel the need to nurture simply isn’t true –Women are meant to nurture and love. That is the essence of our creation and I find such joy in that knowledge! Helping each other, serving each other, and loving each other equates motherhood. In that definition, we are all mothers. I, myself, am not perfect at mothering –who is? –but knowing who I am, and knowing what my purpose is in life gives me the faith necessary to push through the difficult times. I’m so grateful for this knowledge of motherhood!
