First Person: “A Different Mission”
Perhaps you have heard of Seth Adam Smith. He’s a prolific maker of videos, many of which focus on Mormon themes. (He also has a playlist in Russian: Иисус Христос.)
We were touched to read his story. Unable to complete his LDS mission in Russia because of health problems, he struggled with depression. On a trip to Nauvoo, a place that held special significance for him, Father Tony of the Catholic Church shared something that helped Seth pull out of his despair.
Seth’s story is a reminder that life doesn’t always work out as we want it to, or think it should, but that we can make the most of whatever our life circumstance may be.
