Emily, your story was great! Dancing truly is a wonderful venue for expressing and finding yourself. Keep up the good work and share some more of it with others. Dancing has many moods and moves - just like the gospel - there are happy moments and very thoughtful moments. I hope you are always happy with your move to the Gospel of Jesus Christ - where you can always keep dancing and feeling that Spirit!

Oh, Emily - I can't wait to follow the link on your comment and check out your blog, and then to read more of this story tomorrow. I had shivers while reading this. You are just incredible.

sorry, I am male, I do not usually come here, but I followed the link from Jenny's blog.(I like her writing so I lurk there sometimes). Wow Emily you are amazing! I read your blog because I love to read conversion stories. ( I am a ward missionary) I only read to sept 30th and I have to say I am emotionally drained from it. It made me laugh, but mostly it moved me to tears, some for the joy, enthusiasm and light you have found in the gospel, some for the love and compassion from your friends and members there, some for the tender mercies from our Father. But mostly with sorrow and compassion for what you have had to endure to get you to the place you are at now. You are an amazing and inspiring sister. WOW

I cannot wait until Thursday too! But actually, I cannot wait for every encounter that I have with Emily. Whether that be in person, on her blog, in an email, or a text message, it is always a moment to treasure! I have been a member of the Church all of my life, yet, Emily is converting me everyday! I keep thinking that one day will just be a "normal" day or encounter...aint happened yet! Life with Emily is joyous, surprising, uplifting and powerful! I cannot wait for many more people to meet her...we love to share her...

Thank you Jenny for such a great article! Thursday is just one day away!

Dude!

That is so kewl! Great writing, Jenny! And the picture of me and Jon! How neat to see it all in a story... to me it already seems like light years ago... almost veil-ish in another way, like I can barely remember my life before, but it was only three weeks ago! I am so shiny sparkley clean! HA!

Very kind and encouraging and sweet - thank you, lady.

I can't wait to read on Thursday what I have been up to, HA!

Learning, learning, learning! Whew!

The Gospel of Jesus Christ can truly bring about changes that may seem otherwise improbable. What a touching, inspiring, and amazing story. Thank you for sharing!

Oh Emily, I can't wait for Thursday now. What strikes me about your story is how it truly is a conversion. In the scriptures it's called becoming a "new creature in Christ." I'm changing too, I can't pin point a dramatic turn of events or a catalyst that started my change. I've been gradually changing my entire life as I understand and embrace the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
