I can relate to experiencing church meetings all over the world in all kinds of locations (schools, bars, a room in a mortuary in New Zealand), and yet feeling the same peace, connection and power when lessons were taught. I love knowing we are a world wide church that embraces diverse cultures and traditions. I love the variety we have as a world family.

Hey Sylvia!

It's amazing to read all of your experiences, and how, even though our lives differ greatly - we all share the commonality of experiencing trials. We all need to find ways to overcome them.

I love the quote that you included because I think that we, as women especially, get caught up on being perfect - and forget the whole concept of Grace - that no matter what we do we will still need Christ. It is very humbling, yet it fills my heart with hope.

Anyways - thanks for sharing a little bit about yourself. It's my first time on this site, and I'm excited to keep checking back!

Hey Sylvia, you and Mohamed make a darling couple! What a blessing to have such a supportive husband. Thank you for reminding me to pray/study/keep/endure today. It is a pattern that works.
