People often have questions (and sometimes misconceptions) about members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, often called the Mormons.

In this video, Steve Young (a former professional American football quarterback) and Sharlene Wells Hawkes (a former Miss America), tell more about Mormon history and belief. The hope is to dispel some of the myths out there about Mormon life and belief. Topics covered include polygamy, if Mormons care about those outside our community, and if Mormons are Christians. Hear more about our belief in Jesus Christ, about our love of the Bible and other scripture, about our belief in modern prophets and temples — that the ancient Church of Jesus Christ has been restored. Learn a little about why families are so important to us, and what our faith means to us.
