Death is Not the End
President Thomas S. Monson reminds us of this truth in a new Mormon Messages video entitled, “Until We Meet Again” — where he shares a tender story about a woman who lost a son at war and wondered if her son would live again.
It’s a great comfort to know that because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we will all live again. The reality of the resurrection is a foundational doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I home teach a widow that just lost her sister. What scripter can I read to her to give her comfort to know she will see her again??
Don, I asked some LDS women for their input, and here were some suggestions:
Alma 11 about resurrection, and D&C 138 about Spirit World

The George Albert Smith manual chapter on immortality. (A friend and I were talking about a recent death of a young mother and my friend commented on how this lesson helped her regain some perspective about what feels like a tragedy on our end, for those of us still here in mortality dealing with the loss.)
