Doctor: “Not even a little on New Year’s?”
Me (smiling): “No, not even a little on New Year’s.”
Doctor (sternly): “Really?”
Me (sternly): “Really!”
You may [...]

Because we are part of a worldwide church, and tend to include long-standing family and cultural traditions in our celebrations, this discussion is about those traditions as well as Mormon traditions. I have enlisted the help of several women for this post to help exemplify [...]

Recently, we were asked about LDS wedding receptions. What are Mormon wedding receptions like? What should I wear? What should I expect?

We received this question from one of our readers:
I am a Mormon woman with three kids and my husband is not a member of the Church. I get sidetracked a lot; I love coffee and I used to smoke. What advice do you have for me?
We actually want to turn this question over to all [...]

If you are here, on the Mormon Women website, chances are that you’re at least a little curious about the Mormon religion. Maybe the missionaries knocked on your door and [...]
