Bible and Book of Mormon Scripture Advent

Dec 2, 2010 by

We’ve seen versions of this simple scripture advent in a couple of places and thought our readers might enjoy it. The verses below capture teachings of Jesus Christ, as well as events from His life, as recorded in both the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints use the Book of Mormon along with the Bible. Both are witnesses of Jesus Christ, whom Mormons worship as the Son of God, the Savior of the world.

  1. We have a fun and yummy advent tradition. I have my kids set aside as much of their Halloween candy as they want (but at least 24 pieces), we freeze it in labeled ziplocs and then we bring it out the first of December!

The kids love making advent chains with the candy and the best part is it doesn’t add more candy for Christmas, instead it “shares” with Halloween.

  2. Thanks for sharing this list – we started it this morning over breakfast.
