Preparing for LDS General Conference

It’s a “Links We Like” day as we members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints prepare for General Conference this weekend.

General Conference is “No Ordinary Blessing.” Read some thoughts about how to prepare for General Conference.

And we think this talk by Elder Jeffrey R. Holland is a must-read. Last General Conference, he talked about how General Conference talks are prepared, how General Conference is part of the Church‘s mission as “an ensign to the nations,” and how we can receive the messages that God has for us.

    Holland about general conference: “If we teach by the Spirit and you listen
    by the Spirit, some one of us will touch on your circumstance, sending a personal prophetic epistle just to you.”
