The service dedicated to maps and navigation by the American research giant has been creating several headaches for users in recent days. It looks like on Google Maps a a new way to interact with the map but since this behavior has only been seen with some users, we are not yet sure if this is a bug or an update. Of course, users just don’t like it!

Google Maps is a geographic Internet service developed by Google that allows you to search and world map display. In short, an excellent adventure companion that accompanies us in places from the most to the least known, allowing us to move around in comfort and safety.
It used to be possible to refrain from visiting unfamiliar countries or wandering around unknown places, but now, thanks to Google Maps, we can get anywhere and explore the city with all its entertainment. Just think about how to get to bars, restaurants, pubs, as well as hotels, pensions, beaches, using various ways of navigation: by car, on foot or by public transport.
However, over the past few days, there have been reports from some users who have discovered an annoying bug posted primarily on Reddit.
Usually, when you click on a certain point on the map, the menus at the top and bottom will disappear to make room for a full screen view. It now appears that a pin is inserted into the card instead, an action that was previously performed by holding the finger in position for a long time. We still don’t know for sure if this is the case. Bug you hate A/B test Google, however not all users encounter this “new” feature in the app.
At this point, it’s not even clear if the issue is only affecting certain devices or specific versions of Android, let alone if it’s related to a specific build of Google Maps. We will always keep you updated with any updates.
