In the evening, the court pronounced the sentence: the man was unconditionally sentenced to 46 months in prison for, among others, multiple serious injuries and multiple failures of emergency care. In addition, the accused will be expelled from the country for seven years. He must also pay the victim’s family a total of approximately 150,000 francs.
The judge justified the verdict with credible testimony. This would confirm that the accused accelerated and decelerated many times. “They wanted to test the car.” He had an accident while doing this. “Today we know that the victims survived. But it could have turned out otherwise. ” The judge found that the 22-year-old did not take care of his mother and daughter. The accused did not make the correct emergency call. “They had time to say on the phone that two people had been injured.” However, he did not.

Her daughter was diagnosed with multiple trauma: broken bones in the head, fractures of the second cervical vertebrae, ribs, thoracic vertebrae and sternum, as well as torn ligaments, hematoma on the meninges, ruptured liver and lung contusion. The child still suffers from bilateral paralysis of the eye muscles, has problems with visual-spatial perception and language functions.
“Characterless and inhuman”
The prosecution ordered the 22-year-old to be imprisoned for four years and deported for seven years. The suspect accepted the accident. “He changed settings and as a result he lost control.
