Celebrities including Lady Gaga, “Squid Game” star Jung Ho Young and Jared Leto arrived on the silver carpet at the 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards dressed to the nines. The show, which is being held this year at the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles, kicked off awards season in style as the cast posed in bright jewel tones, glitter and metallics.

The SAG Awards is one of the few award ceremonies that celebrates both film and television performances on the same night, and only highlights the achievements of actors voted for by their peers in a unique way.
Lady Gaga, nominated for her role in The House of Gucci, stepped out in an elegant white dress with a rose gold bustier with crystals. The minimalist yet dramatic look was completed with a striking floral diamond necklace and matte silver eyeshadow.

Oh pushed the dopamine attire to the fore in a tiered silver Carolina Herrera ball gown with a plunging V neckline and ribbon spaghetti straps. An emerald green clutch added a pop of color to her ensemble.
‘The Great’ actress Elle Fanning showed off her best side in a sheer nude shirt, satin vest and pale pink bow tie. Paired with sparkly pinstripe trousers, her Gucci outfit was complemented by a delicate pink pearl dangling from under her bow tie.
The men on the red carpet also presented fashionable looks, many of which eschew the more typical black suits this season. Patterned looks from stars like David Diggs made a major statement, while others turned to color: Oscar Isaac paired mauve and chocolate, and House of Gucci star Jared Leto stepped out in a blue three-piece suit. Always prone to fashion risks, Leto swapped out his standard tie for an oversized burgundy velvet ribbon and completed the look with edgy white pointy shoes.

The cast of “Squid Game” took home the Best Costume Ensemble crown, while newly minted fashion darlings Jeon and Lee Jong Jae won the “Best Female Drama Actor” and “Male Drama Actor” awards, respectively. Jung, who was recently named a Louis Vuitton brand ambassador, opted for a black bodycon dress encrusted with delicate crystals, while Lee wore a navy blue ensemble with a large bow tie and black peaked lapels. Kim Joo Ryong opted for a romantic ombre dress, while Anupam Tripathi was a million miles away from the show’s signature green tracksuits in a blue and white suit.
