Many Schwing fans are frustrated. All tickets for the Federal Wrestling and Alpine Festival (ESAF), which takes place August 26-28 in Pratteln, Canton Basel, have disappeared within an hour of presale starting on Wednesday morning. And it wasn’t until soon after Ricardo or Viagogo many overpriced offers appeared. One-day passes are sold there at several times the official price. “Total Mess” irritated a user on the ESAF Facebook page.

In the comment column, the community lets their frustration run wild. There were numerous complaints about “usury offers”. “I hope something gets done with these people,” writes one user.

Anyone who buys an expensive ticket from a seller also takes a lot of risk. ESAF organizers say that reselling or trading tickets at unofficial prices is strictly prohibited. Tickets purchased in this way will expire. In case of suspicion, they can be blocked without a refund.

Only a small quota in free sale

ESAF seats are a scarce commodity. Only 4,500 tickets went on sale. This year’s ESAF Arena has a capacity of 50,900 seats, but two-thirds of tickets went ahead to wrestling associations, donors, sponsors and partners.

If you still want to be there, you need luck. Numerous sponsors announced that they would be handing out tickets. If you get nothing, you can at least enjoy the festive atmosphere in the public viewing area.
